《神州交流》Chinese Cross CurrentsCall for Papers Chinese Cross Currents welcomes the submission of articles and/or reviews (book, film, exhibition, play, etc.) in Chinese or English from concerned readers, scholars, experts and opinion makers, on all aspects of China 's contemporary culture and society and its interaction with the world. Articles should fit in one of the following sections: World, Society, Arts & Letters, History & Culture, Thought & Humanism, and Debates & Features. Articles should be submitted to the Editorial Office, either by post or, preferably, e-mail. They should not exceed 3,000 words in length; should be typed under a usual word processor (preferably Microsoft Word), with footnotes at the end; and should conform to the styling of Chinese Cross Currents (see below). Submission of a manuscript is taken to imply that it has not previously been published in any form or that it has been published in only one of the two publishing languages of Chinese Cross Currents (either Chinese or English). All manuscripts will be thoroughly reviewed by the Editors and submitted to two members of the Advisory Board for evaluation purposes. Chinese Romanisation: Pinyin is used without tone marks, except the following which should use the Wades-Giles system: names such as Chiang Kai-shek, Sun Yat-sen, Taipei, Kaohsiung and generally speaking names of individuals and places outside of China. Authors assign copyrights to the Macau Ricci Institute so as to ensure efficient and consistent dissemination of the articles. Authors may use their own material in other publications provided that Chinese Cross Currents is acknowledged as the original place of publication, and the editors have been informed in due course.
