刘晶晶 Liu Jingjing


Assitant Researcher
Macau Ricci Institute



Liu Jingjing is Assistant Researcher at the Macau Ricci Institute. Her B.A. (Fudan University) and M. Phi. (Fudan Universtiy) and Ph.D. (Chinese University of Hong Kong) are all in the area of religious studies.  Her primary field of research is the history of Christianity in China (especially the culture encounter between Europe and China during 16-18 centuries). Her academic interests also include: the history of Buddhism in China and inter-religious dialogue.

Study tours and Field researches
Study Tour: "Following Matteo Ricci’s Footsteps," 20th - 31st August 2010, (Macau - Zhaoqing - Shaoguan - Nanxiong - Meiling - Ganzhou - Nanchang –Nanjing –Beijing). This projected was proposed by Prof. Zhang Xianqing of Xiamen Universtiy. Other participants are: Prof. Hsu Kuang-Tai of Tsinghwa University, Taiwan, Prof. Thierry Meynard of Sun Yat-sen University, Prof. Dong Shaoxin of Fudan University in Shanghai, and Prof. Wu Liwei of Renmin University in Beijing.

Study Tour: Medieval Portugal (Porto, Coimbra, Fatima, Lisbon, Évora and Vila Nova de Santo Andre, June 2008). This project was supported by the Study Tour of Medieval Portugal Scholarship, Center for Catholic Studies, Department of Cultural and Religious Studies, CUHK.
