Place: Wah Yan College Kowloon, Magis Hall

Contemplation offers a path into silence and self-discipline especially for those who are challenged by a busy life which may lead to the risk of gradually losing the ethical compass in the midst of various dilemmas and strong social pressure from peer groups. The workshop introduces thus a simple practice of silent “kenotic” Contemplation without any images and mental prayers. The faithful Contemplative journey opens the door to spiritual peace and reconciliation in the conflicts of life whose discernment requires a high degree of responsibility. Contemplation helps to discover and purify one’s own spiritual roots, boldness and care for those who are left behind.

• INTRODUCTION TO SILENT KENOTIC CONTEMPLATION

• GUIDED SESSION OF CONTEMPLATION AND MEDITATIVE WALKING
